Lipofuscin consists of highly autofluorescent granules of oxidized proteins and lipids that build up in the lysosomes of aging cells. Lipofuscin granules fluoresce brightly in all channels used for fluorescence microscopy and accumulate in a cell and tissue types with age.

Beskrivelse: Goat anti-mouse IgG1 is an affinity-purified antibody that reacts with Fc portion of the heavy chain of mouse IgG1. To minimize cross reactivity, the antibody is cross-adsorbed against other mouse IgG subclasses (IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3), and human, bovine and rabbit serum proteins. CF™405S is a blue fluorescent dye with an absorption peak wavelength that nearly coincides with the 405 nm blue diode laser line. In addition, the emission peak wavelength of the dye well centers within the blue detection window of BD flow cytometers. As a result, flow cytometry analysis using CF™405S results in much brighter signal compared to Alexa Fluor® 405.

Beskrivelse: Phalloidin is a toxin isolated from the deadly <i>Amanita phalloides</i> mushroom. It is a bicyclic peptide that binds specifically to F-actin. Fluorescent conjugates of phalloidin are convenient tools to investigate the distribution of F-actin in fixed and permeabilised cells or tissue sections. One unit (U) of phallodin is sufficient to stain one sample (200 µl staining volume). A highly selective actin filament stain for fixed and permeabilised cells. Labeled phalloidins have similar affinity for both large and small filaments.
